Timslin D

Composition:-

Tamsulosin 0.4 mg modified release tablets + DUTASTERIDE 0.5 MG

Uses:-

Tamsulosin 0.4 mg modified release tablets combined with Dutasteride 0.5 mg are used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as enlarged prostate, in adult men. Tamsulosin belongs to a class of medications called alpha-blockers, which help relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urinary symptoms such as difficulty urinating and frequent urination. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that reduces the size of the prostate gland, further relieving urinary symptoms and lowering the risk of urinary retention and the need for surgery.

Side Effects:-

Common side effects of Tamsulosin + Dutasteride combination may include dizziness, headache, fatigue, nasal congestion, abnormal ejaculation (including decreased semen volume or retrograde ejaculation), and gastrointestinal upset. Some individuals may experience orthostatic hypotension (sudden drop in blood pressure when standing up), which can cause dizziness or fainting. Serious side effects such as priapism (prolonged erection), severe hypotension, or allergic reactions are rare but require immediate medical attention.

Indication:-

Tamsulosin 0.4 mg modified release tablets combined with Dutasteride 0.5 mg are indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. BPH causes the prostate gland to enlarge, leading to urinary problems. This combination medication helps relieve urinary symptoms associated with BPH by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck and reducing the size of the prostate gland.
