Composition:-
Ferrous Bisglycinate, Folic Acid, Zinc Bisglycinate & Methylcobalamin tab (DRUG)
Uses:-
Ferrous Bisglycinate, Folic Acid, Zinc Bisglycinate & Methylcobalamin tablets are a combination supplement primarily used to address nutritional deficiencies. Ferrous bisglycinate is a form of iron that helps in the production of red blood cells and prevents iron deficiency anemia. Folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis and repair, and it is particularly important during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects. Zinc bisglycinate supports the immune system, aids in wound healing, and is crucial for growth and development. Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, is important for nerve health and the production of red blood cells.
Side Effects:-
Common side effects of this combination tablet may include nausea, constipation, and stomach upset due to the iron content. Some people might experience diarrhea or a metallic taste in the mouth. Rarely, folic acid and vitamin B12 can cause mild side effects such as rash or itching. Zinc can sometimes cause a mild gastrointestinal upset if taken on an empty stomach. Serious side effects are rare, but if you experience symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, chest pain, or signs of an allergic reaction like swelling or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately.
Indication:-
This combination tablet is indicated for the treatment and prevention of various nutritional deficiencies, especially in individuals who are at higher risk of such deficiencies. It is commonly prescribed for pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with anemia, those recovering from surgery or illness, and individuals with poor dietary intake. It is also indicated for the management of certain chronic conditions that affect nutrient absorption or increase nutrient requirements.
