Prescription Oxofem DS is used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy (morning sickness). Doxylamine is used to alleviate nausea, Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) to stimulate metabolism and decrease vomiting and Folic Acid, to help the fetus develop and to avoid neural tube defects. This combination is popular during early pregnancy to relieve morning sickness and help in having normal pregnancy.
